Among possible subjects for consideration: the influence of the older dramatists (British and Continental) on the development of the form, the impetus supplied by critics and commentators of the period, the aesthetics of specific plays, etc. We shall publish In ELT acceptable papers on the subject prior to the meeting of the Seminar.
