BlBUOGRAPHY The foUowing Ust of articles pubUshed in English during the past decade is presented to assist readers in keeping up with the latest scholarship and to f acuÃ-tate an assessment of those areas in which more research needs to be done. In particular, readers may notice fewer historical studies appearing in multi-disciplinary feminist journals in recent years. Because of the volume of studies pubUshed on women, this Ust is limited to discussions of Politics and Birth Control. Future issues wül provide bibtiographies in other areas of women's history, including Biographies. The Guide provides updated versions of the selected article categories which appeared in the first two volumes of the JO UKNAL, as weU as many others never before pubUshed. As a further service to our readers, the JOURNAL wül continue to publish thematic bibtiographies of articles in each future issue. These wül be continuously updated to include aU current periodical Uterature on women's history pubUshed in English since 1990 and so wül serve to supplement our recently published Guide. These ongoing bibliographies, along with our abstracts of aU historical works pubUshed in Engtish and reviews of aU major foreign language books about women's history, are part of the goal of the JOURNAL OF WOMEN'S HISTORYto serve as the journal of record for women's history in the United States and abroad.
