In the Fall 2001 issue of Victorian Poetry, the following errors occur in the article by Christine Wiesenthal, "Regarding Christina Rossetti's '"Reflection,"'" pp. 389-406:

p. 391, l. 38: for "determinane reality" read "determinate reality."

pp. 396-397, ll. 40-42, 1-3: The sentence should read as follows:

It needs to be stressed, however, that, by gesturing to such contorted images as Holbein's famous death's head in The Ambassadors, Lacan "does not suggest that anamorphosis is itself the gaze"; rather, "its dynamic, catching [the viewer/spectator] off guard with a mark of death, simply explains how the gaze works" (Saper, p. 44).

pp. 391, 396, 401, 403: "Zizek" should read "."

Christine Wiesenthal is Associate Professor of Victorian Literature at the University of Alberta. She has published Figuring Madness in Nineteenth-Century Fiction (1997), non-fiction, articles, and a poetry collection, Instruments of Surrender (2001). She is currently working on a biography of the late Canadian poet Pat Lowther.
