Florence S. Boos is Professor of English at the University of Iowa. She is the editor of History and Community: Essays in Victorian Medievalism, author of The Design of William Morris’ The Earthly Paradise and of articles on the poetry of Scottish working-class women.

Alexis Easley is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Alaska Southeast. Her work has appeared in Nineteenth-Century Prose and Women’s Writing as well as in two essay collections, Defining Centres: Nineteenth-Century Media and the Construction of Identities (Macmillan, 2000) and Victorian Women Writers and the Woman Question (Cambridge, 1999).

Stephanie Kuduk is Assistant Professor of English at Wesleyan University, where she teaches Romantic and Victorian literature. She received her Ph.D. in Modern Thought & Literature from Stanford University in 1999. Her current research explores the history of republican verse in nineteenth-century England, tracing the relation among grassroots politics, political theory, and poetic form.

Kelly J. Mays is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Larry McCauley is Assistant Professor of English at the College of New Jersey and has published articles on the rhymes of Milton and the language of H.D.
