Abstract

Between 16 and 25 October 2001, the faculty union of the California State Universities held teach-ins on all the CSU campuses. To support this effort, Mason and her colleagues created Education Inc., or How I Learned to Stop Thinking and Love Measurement-Driven Instruction. Research for the play taught them that all levels of U.S. public education are struggling with the destructive effects corporate thinking is having on education.
