Simon Fraser University Library undertook an assessment of its collection allocations to reassure faculty and librarians that our collection building was consistent with the University's academic priorities. Mindful of the problems inherent in value-laden formulaic approaches, we examined a variety of factors in identifying potentially misaligned allocations.
