Judkin Browning (Ph.D., University of Georgia, 2006) is assistant professor of history at Appalachian State University. He is finishing his manuscript on the effects of Union military occupation in eastern North Carolina, which will be published by the University of North Carolina Press.
Jane Flaherty (Ph.D., Texas A&M University, 2005) currently serves at Texas A&M University as director of Study Abroad Programs and as part-time lecturer in the department of history. Her book, The Revenue Imperative: Union Financial Policy during the Civil War, is forthcoming in the Financial History Series published by Pickering and Chatto.
Andrew F. Lang lives in Houston, Texas, and is a doctoral student at Rice University. [End Page 216]
