George Diekhoff earned the Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Texas Christian University in 1977. He is currently Professor and Chair of the Midwestern State University Psychology Department. His research interests focus on applied problems in organizational and educational settings.

Tom Drake teaches courses in the University of Idaho's English Department and Core program. His courses integrate critical thinking and composition as well as examining the history, validity, and relevance of empiricism to students'civic lives (tdrake@uidaho.edu).

Deanne Gute is a writing specialist at the University of Northern Iowa Center for Academic Achievement, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls (deanne.gute@uni.edu).
