  • Announcing a New Emily Dickinson Publication

Emily Dickinson: A Letter, being published in late 1992 by The Friends of the Amherst College Library as a keepsake for the new year, reproduces in facsimile and transcription a newly discovered letter by Emily Dickinson, recently acquired by the Amherst College Library. A note by Polly Longsworth, author most recently of The World of Emily Dickinson, sets the new letter in context.

The keepsake, designed by Ronald Gordon at The Oliphant Press in New York City, will be distributed gratis to all members of The Friends of the Amherst College Library. Copies will also be available to others for $5.00; all proceeds will go to support the Dickinson Homestead in Amherst.
