Tami Gold is a documentary film-maker (Land, Rain &Fire, Every Mother's Son, Another Brother, Out at Work, Juggling Gender) and professor at Hunter College (CUNY).

Hannah K. Lee is from Los Angeles and is now working towards a BFA in illustration at Parsons School of Design. A record of her struggles can be seen on her art blog at hanndroid.livejournal.com.

Pepi Leistyna is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics Graduate Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he coordinates the research program and teaches courses in cultural studies, media literacy, and language acquisition. Speaking internationally on issues of democracy, public education, and social justice, Leistyna's books include Breaking Free: The Transformative Power of Critical Pedagogy; Presence of Mind: Education and the Politics of Deception; Defining and Designing Multiculturalism; and Cultural Studies: From Theory to Action. His recent documentary film with the Media Education Foundation is called Class Dismissed: How TV Frames the Working Class. He is a research fellow for the Education Policy Research Unit and the 2007 recipient of the Studs Terkel Award for Media and Journalism.

Mara Mills is a graduate student in the History of Science department at Harvard; she formerly taught biology and English at Santa Cruz High School.

Debra Mollen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Philosophy at Texas Woman's University. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University in 2004. Her research and teaching interests include multicultural counseling competence, feminist issues, women's sexuality, and professional training issues.

Zachariah O'Hora is a Brooklyn based illustrator and painter. He earned his BFA from the California College of Art in 2002. His work has appeared in many publications and has won awards from the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Print Magazine and Communication Arts. Susan O'Malley is a member of the Radical Teacher editorial collective and a professor of English at Kingsborough Community College, City University of New York. From 2002-2006 she was chair of the CUNY Faculty Senate for the 21 campuses and the faculty trustee for the University. She co-chairs the Higher Education Seminar sponsored by the CUNY Academy for Arts and Sciences.

Leandra Preston is an Instructor and Program Coordinator of Women's Studies at the University of Central Florida. Her activist work focuses on violence against women, emphasizing connections between constructions of masculinity and sexual and domestic violence. Research interests include third-wave feminist theories and praxis, Girls Studies, cyberactivism, and feminist pedagogical issues.

Gerardo Renique is a historian, writer, and professor at City College (CUNY).

Bob Rosen teaches English at William Paterson University in New Jersey and, with Pamela Annas, has published Literature and Society: An Introduction to Fiction, Poetry, Drama, Nonfiction and Against the Current: Readings for Writers. Leonard Vogt is Professor Emeritus of English at LaGuardia Community College (CUNY). During his 27 years there, he taught writing and research skills in interdisciplinary learning communities, was faculty co-mentor of the student group The Straight and Gay Alliance (SAGA), and occasionally published on Gay Studies. With Bob Rosen and Susan Gushee O'Malley, he edited Politics of Education: Essays from Radical Teacher, and, with Bob Rosen and Joseph Entin, Controversies in the Classroom: A Radical Teacher Reader (forthcoming 2008).
