Bruce E. Seely Department of Social Sciences, Michigan Technological University Bruce Seely is a historian of technology with interests in the history of engineering education and research, and in transportation technology and policy. He brings to the journal familiarity with many of the classic fields and subfields of social science whose scholars have an interest in technology transfer: sociology, anthropology, economics, legal studies, geography, communications and rhetoric, regional studies, policy studies, as well as history. Vernotto C. McMillan NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL Vernotto C. McMillan currently serves as NASA’s Lead Systems Engineer for the ARES 1 Integrated Vehicle Ground Vibration Test at the Marshall Space Flight Center. This vehicle will return to the moon in 2016. From 2002 to 2006, he was the director of NASA Marshall’s Technology Transfer Program, and has served in various roles within Marshall’s primary mission areas. McMillan he has led in the facilitation of diverse teams composed of industry, academia, and government members from different regions of the country in their efforts to pursue technology development, deployment, and education projects. Chul-Young Roh East Tennessee State University Chul-Young Roh is an assistant professor in public health at East Tennessee State University. His research interests include hospital choices by patient groups, measurement of health care organization performance, measuring job satisfaction of emotional labor, public-policy process, and local government cooperation. Paul M. Hallacher The Pennsylvania State University Paul M. Hallacher, Ph.D., is director of Research Program Development and lecturer in political science at The Pennsylvania State University. He is responsible for assisting faculty members across the university develop large-scale, multidisciplinary research and technology transfer initiatives. He has assisted in developing numerous national research and technology transfer centers at Penn State in a variety of disciplines.
