Ana Merino nació en Madrid, España, en 1971. Es la autora de cinco colecciones de poesía, la última, Compañera de Celda, en 2006. Ha ganado los premios Adonais y Fray Luis de León por poesía. Actualmente se desempeña como profesora de español en Dartmouth College.
Ana Merino was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1971. She is the author of five poetry collections, most recently Compañera de Celda in 2006. She has won the Adonais and Fray Luis de León awards for poetry. She is currently Assistant Professor of Spanish at Dartmouth College.
