Announcements COUNCIL FOR PHILOSOPHICALSTUDIES PHILOSOPHICALESSAY COMPETITION Two thousand dollars will be paid for the best essay on the topic of violence. Due before Sept. 30, 1969, entries should be between 6,000 and 12,000 words, in English, previously unpublished, and of interest to educated general readers as well as to professional philosophers.
