  • Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Fellowships

Princeton University, the University Center for Human Values, invites applications for Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Fellowships. Several Rockefeller Visiting Fellowships will be awarded for the academic year 2000–2001 to outstanding teachers and scholars who are interested in devoting a year in residence at Princeton to writing about ethics and human values.

Fellows participate in a Fellows’ seminar, a seminar in Ethics and Public Affairs, and other programs of the University Center. They enjoy access to Firestone Library and a wide range of other activities throughout the University. A major part of their time is devoted to their own research on ethics and human values.

Fellowships extend from September through May. Applicants are expected to have a doctorate or a professional post-graduate degree and cannot be in the process of writing a dissertation. The deadline for application materials is December 15, 1999 for fellowships beginning September 2000. Recipients will be notified by March 15, 2000.
