Rent from DeepDyveCorey E. Andrews is an Assistant Professor of English at Youngstown State University. His book, Literary Nationalism in Eighteenth-Century Scottish Club Poetry, was published in 2004. He is currently working on a book on English poetry by eighteenth-century Scots, tentatively entitled Scots in English: Cross-Cultural Poetics in Eighteenth-Century Scotland.
Peter Garrett is Professor of English at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the author of several studies of narrative modes and forms, including Scene and Symbol from George Eliot to James Joyce, The Victorian Multiplot Novel, and Gothic Reflections.
Jody Greene is Associate Professor of Literature and Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She recently published The Trouble with Ownership: Literary Property and Authorial Liability in England, 1660–1730 (Penn, 2005). She is currently editing a special issue of Eighteenth-Century Studies titled "Derrida's 'Eighteenth Century.'"
Anita Guerrini is Professor of History and Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her most recent book is Experimenting with Humans and Animals: From Galen to Animal Rights (Johns Hopkins, 2003), and she is completing a book on animals, humans, and anatomy in Louis XIV's Paris.
Scott J. Juengel is an Associate Professor of English at Michigan State University. His work has appeared in journals such as differences, ELH, Novel, and Studies in Romanticism. He is currently finishing a book on race and mimesis in the long eighteenth century and beginning a new project entitled Catastrophe Enlightenment.
Natania Meeker is Associate Professor in the Department of French and Italian at the University of Southern California. She is the author of Voluptuous Philosophy: Literary Materialism in the French Enlightenment (Fordham, 2006). She is currently working on a project on feminine libertinage and eighteenth-century philosophy.
