Édouard Duval-Carrié was born in Haiti and studied art at McGill University, the University of Loyola (Montreal), and Ecole National Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. His work has been exhibited in Houston, Miami, Santo Domingo, San Diego, New York, Port-au-Prince, Bogotá, Los Angeles, Washington, Chicago, Madrid, Paris, London, and many other cities.
