Abstract

The competition among periodicals and the ever-emerging new ideas compel every journal toward constant innovation. The barriers of traditional concepts, the mind-sets of editors, and the internal knowledge structure of editing all interact to affect the innovative spirit of a journal. Through discussion on optimizing the process of topic selection, keeping pace with academic frontiers, tracing hot social problems, and changing editing methods, this article probes the issue of enhancing the innovative spirits of editors.
