Joanne Seltzer, Schenectady, New York, was born and raised in Detroit, graduated from the University of Michigan, then moved east. She holds an M.A. in English from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Her poems have appeared in many periodicals including The Village Voice, Hadassah Magazine, and Jewish Women's Literary Annual and are included in many anthologies. She has also published short fiction and three poetry chapbooks.
