Christopher Bonastia is Assistant Professor of Sociology at Lehman College–City University of New York and a former Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of Knocking on the Door: The Federal Government’s Attempt to Desegregate the Suburbs (Princeton University Press, 2006).
Joeseph Crespino is Assistant Professor of History at Emory University. His book, The Last Days of Jim Crow: Mississippi and the Conservative Counterrevolution, is forthcoming from Princeton University Press.
David Koistinen received a Ph.D. in history from Yale University and is Assistant Professor of History at the American University of Beirut. He is completing a book on the political economy of deindustrialization in twentieth-century New England.
Stephen R. Ortiz is Assistant Professor of History at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2004 and is currently completing a manuscript for New York University Press entitled Soldier-Citizens: Veteran Political Activism from the Bonus March to the G.I.
