Or will the trams in Bremen do?The trams she watchedfrom huge, arched windows    beside her chair—trams sliding through the rain   on Ostertorsteinweg,that old road leading to Hamburg—

To live on a street with such a name   required Telemann.

But the trams interruptedwith their sudden rush of speed,   their metal and glassclanging, rattling noise—

So she lifted her eyes from the pageshe was reading in your book—then listened to Telemann   even more acutelybefore she returned   to your world.

Ese veranoella escuchaba a Telemanncomo si fuera un gran amigo,como si esperara que él viniera   a cenar uno de estos días.
