Announcement of Conference Speakers

The Library Research Seminar Planning Committee is pleased to announce the four exceptional speakers who will lead the conference in November 2001. Dr. Phyllis Dain (formerly professor of library service at Columbia University) and Dr. Kathleen Molz (professor of public affairs, Columbia University) will speak together on research concerning the administration of public libraries. Dr. Yvonna Lincoln (professor of educational administration at Texas A&M University) will address qualitative research methods. Dr. Ben Schneiderman (professor of computer science at the University of Maryland) will discuss research issues in human-computer interaction.

Proposals for papers, clinics, panels, and discussions for Library Research Seminar II are currently being accepted by the general conference chair, Dr. Lynn Westbrook.
