Sube la noche, se hace clara, símil día.
El pálido satélite innombrable
irrumpe en la nocturna porfía.
Es más que el dudoso Dios.

Cuando la pétrea oscuridad
al pobre enamorado abruma,
da un albo haz como piedad
y se presenta sutil: -Soy la Luna.

Selene, Istar, Moon, Astarté,
Lúa, Mond, Lune, prehispánica Yacï,
sin llamarte, cósmica NN, te nombré
con los nombres de la niñez feliz.

Para mí falta uno, con especial
añoranza pero idéntica luz:
mi hijo de un año, sin dudar,
elevando su mirada te decía "Nunú."
