Susan M. Awbrey is is Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Dr. Awbrey led the renewal of general education at Oakland and has consulted nationally on general education reform. Prior to joining OU she served on the faculty and administrations of University of Illinois, Michigan State University, and University of Texas. Her research focus is the development of integrative universities and the use of organizational design in higher education. Dr. Awbrey is a former American Council on Education Fellow.
Anne Dalke is Senior Lecturer in the English Department and Coordinator of the Feminist and Gender Studies Program at Bryn Mawr College. She has written one book and edited another exploring varieties of Quaker pedagogies. Her interests include emergent pedagogies, feminist theory and narrative traditions, revisionary work in the canon of American literatures, and the intersections between science and literature.
Melanie Parker is a Professor of Mathematics at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She has published articles for mathematics teachers in journals such as Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School and School Science and Mathematics. Her areas of research include teacher knowledge of rational numbers and percent, and her interests include assessment in general education.
Thomas E. Rodgers has taught at Ball State and Indiana State universities and is currently teaching history at the University of Southern Indiana. His most recent publication is "Billy Yank and G.I.
