Editorial Announcement

I am pleased to announce officially several important editorial changes that have been introduced in the past year. John J. Stuhr joins me as a co-editor and Shannon Sullivan as book review editor. JSP owes a deep debt of gratitude to Carl R. Hausman and Douglas R. Anderson. They have served as editors since the inception of the New Series, devoting a great deal of time, effort, and imagination to making JSP a rich forum for diverse philosophical reflections. Their commitment, talents, and judgment will be missed. So too will the work and insights of Robert S. Corrington, longtime book review editor. However, I am confident that the expertise, passion, and energy of Professors Stuhr and Sullivan, my colleagues at Penn State, will ensure that JSP continues to be a journal committed to philosophical pluralism through critical, historical, and imaginative engagement with traditional questions and contemporary issues.

We signal this commitment through JSP's new subtitle. In addition, readers will find a number of other design and content changes--from new instructions for submitting manuscripts electronically (and a new guarantee of prompt review) to clearer information for subscribers. Finally, other changes are still underway. These will unfold throughout the rest of this year as JSP returns to its regular publication schedule. Your thoughts are invited and your support is appreciated.
