The Westrup Prize

The Westrup Prize for articles of particular distinction published in Music & Letters, vol. 84 (2003) has been awarded jointly to RACHEL GOLDEN CARLSON for 'Striking Ornaments: Complexities of Sense and Song in Aquitanian "Versus"' (pp. 527-56) and ALAIN FROGLEY for his review-article 'Rewriting the Renaissance: History, Imperialism, and British Music since 1840' (pp. 241-57).
