Moustafa Bayoumi is an assistant professor of English, and teaches literature at Brooklyn College, City University of New York. He is co-editor of The Edward Said Reader (2000), and has published essays on literature, art, cinema, politics, architecture, and music. Most recently, his work has appeared in Transition and the Yale Journal of Criticism.
Madhav Chari is a freelance jazz pianist from Calcutta, India based in the New York City region. In addition to performing mainstream jazz, he leads his own quartet utilizing a wide range of influences, including Indian Classical and Afro-Cuban music. Nathaniel Deutsch is an associate professor of religion at Swarthmore College. He is author of several books including a forthcoming biography of the Maiden of Ludmir, a Jewish holy woman, and the co-editor of Black Zion: African American Religious Encounters with Judaism.
Ricardo René Laremont is an assistant professor of sociology, political science, and Africana studies and associate director of the Institute of Global Cultural Studies at Binghamton University, State University of New York.
