Act III: Hunting in Sonogram Season
In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

half the world’s
asleep
at any given moment
a reoccurring dream:

            the mic keeps
            falling down.
            It’s a girl.

awake. end. moved
to tears
watching other
people’s dreams
      give

birth—it’s a boy!
they get their
hunting buddy

did you see the size of that thing?

as long as
his intellect’s
big
as the guns
love

our words’
quiver of
consciousness—

            shoot! shoot! shoot!

killing everything
and none.
