Act III: Hunting in Sonogram Season
In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

half the world’s
at any given moment
a reoccurring dream:

            the mic keeps
            falling down.
            It’s a girl.

awake. end. moved
to tears
watching other
people’s dreams

birth—it’s a boy!
they get their
hunting buddy

did you see the size of that thing?

as long as
his intellect’s
as the guns

our words’
quiver of

            shoot! shoot! shoot!

killing everything
and none.
