Sleeping with Everyone
In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

In New York no one will do you a favor
unless you sleep with them
and then you may have to sleep with them
again. And again after that.

I wonder if I should start doing pornography
for more money. I wonder if I could role-play
as a plumber or a psychotic
youngish writer who wears leather

and takes it real hard in a walk-up on Allen St.
But wait, that's me! I should stop writing
personal poems. This is getting ridiculous.
O, it's another bloody day and everything screams

until he says, "My therapist thinks you're like cigarettes,"
before he says, "You're charming but so crazy."
After everyone I know has died a little and come back
and look! I'm off buying another life I can't afford because

I'm single, taken, and in love.
