The Golden Complex

Alfred Adler began his first U.S. lecture tour in 1926. He rose to national prominence concurrent with his first visit to the United States. Adler’s lecture tours and publications through the 1920s and into the following decade continually increased his public recognition, until his death in 1937. The 1920s were an exciting era—the Roaring Twenties—in American history. The book The Golden Complex, by Lee Dodd (1927), provides a unique 1920s view of Adler’s influence during that time.
