Of Hindrance
In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

No faces yet for the dead—
no names, places, or certainties.

The little dog in the soul sits
cocking his head at the newscasters.

No faces yet for the wounded.
Little dog goes mad, howling now

for the million languages to answer:
which has a word for snow-

An overwhelming majority of
headwounds. Glass bowl

of naval oranges—trees waltzing
outside the hospital window.

There is a narrow stretch where
the current slows over gravel and shale.

It is a popular place to cross.
