Charlotte Brewer  

Charlotte Brewer is Tutorial Fellow of Hertford College, Oxford, and CUF Lecturer at Oxford University. Author of Editing Piers Plowman: The Evolution of the Text (Cambridge UP, 1996) and mainly a medievalist through 2000, her research now focuses on the Oxford English Dictionary. She is currently writing a book about the history of the OED from 1928 to the present; her investigation of the OED's sources won a DSNA/Urdang Award in Lexicography (2005) — see <www.english.ox.ac.uk/oed>.
