Brian Ball is a Lecturer in Philosophy at St Anne's College, Oxford. He is primarily interested in the philosophy of language and metaphysics, having completed his doctorate in these areas at the University of Oxford in 2008 with a thesis titled Semantics, Metasemantics, and Ontology. He also has research interests in epistemology, the philosophy of mind, logic, and the philosophy of mathematics.
