Dale M. Bauer is Professor of English at the University of Illinois. She has written on Bakhtin and feminism, Edith Wharton's politics and on Sex Expression and American Women Writers, 1860-1940. She edited The Cambridge History of American Women's Literature (2012).
Ashley Squires is Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. Her work on the intersections of US literary and religious history also appears in American Literary Realism.
J. Jesse Ramírez is a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at Yale University. He is currently finishing a dissertation on apocalyptic literature and film since 1945.
George Potter is adjunct instructor at the Council for international Educational Exchange Study Center in Amman, Jordan, where he is completing a book about theatric representations of soldiers and terrorists.
Kevin C. Moore is a Ph.D. candidate at UCLA. His interests include 19th- and 20th-c American literature, the novel, and cultural practices of reading and writing. He is finishing a dissertation, "The Myth of Writer's Block: Unblocking Postwar American Moral Realism."
David Ben-Merre is Assistant Professor of English at Buffalo State. He has published on Byron, Yeats, Joyce, World War I poetry, Dickens, Agamben, and Carly Simon. His book manuscript is currently under review, and his crossword puzzle appeared in NY Times (9 Jan. 2013).
Richard Hardack, Ph.D. and J.D. from UC-Berkeley, is author of "Not Altogether Human": Pantheism and the Dark Nature of the American Renaissance.
