Gordon Sayre is Associate Professor of English at the University of Oregon. He is author of Les Sauvages Américains: Representations of Native Americans in French and English Colonial Literature, and editor of an anthology, American Captivity Narratives.

  

Scott Peeples is Associate Professor of English and Coordinator of American Studies at the College of Charleston. He is the author of Edgar Allan Poe Revisited (1998) and The Afterlife of Edgar Allan Poe (2003).

  

Michael Blakie is a doctoral candidate in the department of English at the University of Southern California, where he is completing a dissertation entitled "Rest Cures: The Narrative Life of a Medical Practice."

  

Terrell Scott Herring recently completed his dissertation at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His articles have appeared in PMLA, African American Review, and The Southern Quarterly.

  

Michael Nowlin is Associate Professor of English at the University of Victoria. He has published several articles in the field of twentieth-century American literature, and is the editor of Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence in the Broadview Literary Texts series. He is at work on a study of F. Scott Fitzgerald and literary prestige.
