On Earth
In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

On Earth

Our Pop Pop died smiling,
still we said something like
God is good—

we were unlearned in,
Or elected to unlearn

In the smoke
    That dismantled us,
  bit by bit,
Left us
    Coughing ash,
singing of this final mercy.
