Traditio

Vol. 57 (2002) through current issue

Traditio is an international journal, published annually and dedicated to the study of ancient and medieval history, thought, and religion.

Traditio publishes monographic essays, critical editions of texts, and research tools such as catalogues of unpublished manuscripts. Submissions in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish are accepted. Articles have treated history, literature, philosophy, patristics, philology, theology, and history of art. The periods covered are antiquity, early Christianity, and the Middle Ages, up to A.D. 1500.

Traditio is published annually by Fordham University. One copy of any manuscript submitted for publication should be sent by the beginning of December to the editor at Traditio; Fordham University; 441 East Fordham Road, Building 540; Bronx, NY 10458, U.S.A. E-mail for editorial matters: traditio@fordham.edu. Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition. Any member of the editorial board will gladly receive correspondence and inquiries. The Traditio style sheet and complete indexes, by author and subject, as well as editors’ addresses, are available at www.fordham.edu/traditio. Volumes from 57 (2002) on are available through ProQuest Research Library and Project Muse. Volumes 1 (1943) through 64 (2009) are available through JSTOR.

Book reviews do not appear in Traditio, and unsolicited books sent for review will not be returned.
