REVIEW OF THE XXIV ANNUAL MEETING The twenty-fourth annual meeting of the Southeastern Division of the Association of American Geographers was held November 23-25, 1969, at the Downtown Holiday Inn, Tallahassee, Florida. William R. Brueckheimer and Burke G. Vanderhill were in charge of local arrangements. E. E. Hegen was in charge of the program committee. A record 262 persons registered. After words of welcome by J. Stanley Marshall, President, The Florida State University, a full program of 74 papers occupied the two days. A banquet terminated the meeting. Prof. J. Ross Mackay, President, Association of American Geographers, addressed the banquet on the subject, "The Western Canadian Arctic: Some Environmental Problems in Resource Development ." In the honors competition for the best paper by a graduate student, the winner was James W. Gladden, University of Georgia.
