Christianity and the Holocaust The Fourth Bienniel Conference on Christianity and the Holocaust, to be held April 14-15, 1996, at the Marriott Hotel, Princeton, New Jersey, is sponsored by the Julius and Dorothy Koppelman Holocaust/Genocide Resource Center and the Campus Ministry of Rider University. The theme of the conference will be "The 50th Anniversary of the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials: Their Effectiveness and Legacy." Papers are invited which examine the effectiveness of the trials in determining and accounting for the responsibility of political, professional, military, and business groups for the Holocaust, and the utility, in light of more contemporary events, of international tribunals in deterring and punishing war crimes and crimes against humanity. The conference also invites papers on the historical development of antisemitism with particular emphasis on religious doctrine and the response and responsibility of the churches.
