Belgrade

Belgrade is the rivers Which know how to deal with us And with themselves

Belgrade is the parks Where always some new kids are playing And kisses are felt for the first time

Belgrade is the churches Well-lit and in darkness Illuminated by candles and all the tears

Belgrade is the pastry shops With the creamy custards And unforgettable ambrosia

Belgrade is all my friends And all my loved ones Belgrade The city of my feelings [End Page 166]
