Bunky Echo-Hawk (Pawnee/Yakama) is an internationally known artist with major museum and gallery exhibitions throughout the United States and overseas. He is based out of Pawnee, Oklahoma. His website is www.bunkyechohawk.com.

Prose

Sherman Alexie is the author of twenty-two books, including The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, winner of the 2007 National Book Award for Young People's Literature; War Dances, winner of the 2010 PEN Faulkner Award; and the poetry collection Face (Hanging Loose P). His forthcoming collection of stories is Blasphemy (Grove P). He lives with his family in Seattle.

Tacey M. Atsitty, Diné, from Cove, Arizona, is Tsénahabiłnii (Sleep Rock People) and born for Ta'neeszahnii (Tangle People). She is a recipient of the Truman Capote Creative Writing Fellowship, the Corson-Browning Poetry Prize, and the Morning Star Creative Writing Award. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Florida Review, Drunken Boat, New Poets of the American West Anthology, New Orleans Review, and other publications. Her chapbook is Amenorrhea (Counting Coup P).

Ayşe Papatya Bucak directs the MFA program at Florida Atlantic University. She has published recent work in Witness, Iowa Review, and Creative Nonfiction.

Steven Church is the author of The Day After the Day After: My Atomic Angst, Theoretical Killings: Essays and Accidents, and The Guinness Book of Me: A Memoir of Record. His essays have been published or are forthcoming in Fourth Genre, Creative Nonfiction, Riverteeth, AGNI, North American Review, and elsewhere. Edwidge Danticat selected his essay "Auscultation" for the 2011 Best American Essays. He teaches in the MFA program at Fresno State University and is a founding editor of the literary magazine The Normal School.

Dina Guidubaldi has had work published in Other Voices, Ninth Letter, Santa Monica Review, Lumina, Eclipse, and elsewhere. She has worked for American [End Page 177] Short Fiction, Callaloo, SPIN, the Austin American-Statesman, and Texas State University, and she continues to live, read, and write in Austin, Texas.

Ihab Hassan has received two Guggenheim and three Fulbright Fellowships and two honorary doctorates from the universities of Uppsala and Giessen. He is the author of fifteen books of essays and memoirs, and of many short stories, published in such journals as AGNI, Confrontation, Fiction International, Nimrod, and Pleiades. His forthcoming book, a novelette and stories with Egyptian backgrounds, is The Changeling and Other Stories.

Greg Jenkins's short stories have appeared in such journals as Chicago Quarterly Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Tampa Review, and Sou'wester. He is the author of Stanley Kubrick and the Art of Adaptation (McFarland) and Code Green: A Novel (Vagabond P).

Stephen Graham Jones is the author of twelve novels, most recently Growing Up Dead in Texas (MP Publishing) and Zombie Bake-off (Lazy Fascist). He has published many stories and has been an NEA fellow and a Bram Stoker Award finalist. He is a professor at Colorado University-Boulder.

Randall Kenan's collection of stories, Let the Dead Bury Their Dead (Harcourt, Brace) was nominated for the Los Angeles Times Book Award for Fiction, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, and was among The New York Times Notable Books. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Whiting Writers Award, the Sherwood Anderson Award, the John Dos Passos Award, and other awards. He most recently edited the anthology The Cross of Redemption: The Uncollected Writings of James Baldwin (Pantheon).

DovBer Naiditch is a Hasidic Jew and a writer of small fiction. He received his MFA in creative writing from the University of Pittsburgh. He has many small children and many short stories, and he is working on improving and organizing all of them.

Poetry

Sofiul Azam has two books of poetry titled Impasse and In Love with a Gorgon and edited Short Stories of Selim Morshed. Another collection of poetry, Earth and Windows: New and Selected Poems, is forthcoming.
