The Westrup Prize

The Westrup Prize for articles of particular distinction published in Music & Letters, vol. 86 (2005) has been awarded to DON FADER for 'The "Cabale du Dauphin", Campra, and Italian Comedy: The Courtly Politics of French Musical Patronage around 1700' (pp. 380–413) and to SHERSTEN JOHNSON for 'Britten's "Musical Syllables"' (pp. 592–622).
