Bernard Benstock, a previous contributor to MFS, is the well-known Joyce scholar whose most recent book is James Joyce: The Augmented Ninth (1988). He is Professor of English at the University of Miami, and forthcoming is his edition of Critical Essays on James Joyce's "Ulysses" (by G. K. Hall).

Laurence A. Breiner is an Associate Professor of English at Boston University. Other publications include articles on The Arabian Nights, Ovid's Metamorphoses, and West Indian poetry.

Jerome Mandel is Professor and sometime Chair of the English Department at Tel Aviv University. Although his books and major publications are in the field of Old and Middle English, he has also published on Tom Jones, on Joyce, and on Lawrence.

Jo Ann Hoeppner Moran teaches history at Georgetown University. Her publications include a book published by Princeton University Press and articles in Manuscripta, Journal of Ecclesiastical History, and History of Education Quarterly.

Richard K. Sanderson is an Associate Professor of English at Boise State University.
