Pamela R. Bleisch is the former librarian for books, rare books, and serials at the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a doctorate in classical studies from UCLA. She taught classical literature and Roman history for ten years before earning a master's degree in library and information science from Simmons College. She now resides in San Luis Obispo, California.

Thomas A. Bolze is catalog librarian for the Rare Book Team at Yale University Library in New Haven, Connecticut. He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in U.S. history from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He taught history before returning to the university to earn a master's degree in library science and take courses at the Rare Book School at the University of Virginia. His interests include promoting the cultural history of rare book collecting in the United States.

Phillip Jones is reader services librarian for Grinnell College Libraries in Grinnell, Iowa. He holds a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Arizona and a master of arts degree in English from the University of Kentucky. Before moving to Iowa in 2004, he lived and worked in the southwestern United States for fifteen years, where he earned a degree in Spanish from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, and began collaborating with Mexican librarians on reference and information literacy projects. In addition to Mexican library history his research interests include library use of people immigrating to the United States.

Hans C. Rasmussen received a master of library and information science degree specializing in archives and records enterprise from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001. He was a manuscript processor and catalog librarian at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and has been special collections cataloger at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge since 2006.
