Announcements

Starting 1 July 2004, Antoinette Burton and Jean Allman at the University of Illinois will take over as editors of the Journal of Women's History. They intend to build upon the Journal's legacy of feminist historical inquiry by continuing the tradition of sound and innovative scholarship that at once showcases state-of-the-art research in women's and gender history and points to new avenues of historical inquiry.

The 13th Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, "Sin Fronteras: Women's Histories, Global Conversations," will be held 2-5 June 2005 at Scripps College, Claremont, California, USA. For more information, please visit the website at <www.berksconference.org>

In 2004, the Journal of Women's History will be published by John Hopkins University Press. Although we are making this transition as seamless as possible, we ask you let us know if you do not receive your subscription copies of the Journal. Please email us at <jwh@osu.edu> by 30 April if you have not received your copy of volume 16, no.1 (2004).
