It is my pleasure to announce that Steven Nadler of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, will be the new Editor of the Journal of the History of Philosophy. He will assume the editorship July 1, 2010, and I wish him much success.

Starting July 1, submissions should be sent to the new editorial office. New submission guidelines and contact information will be posted in the July issue and on the JHP website (http://web.duke.edu/philosophy/jhp/instructions.html).

It has been an honor for me to serve as Editor for the last seven years. I would like to express my thanks to the four people who have served so effectively as Managing Editor during my term: Boris Kukso (2003-2005), Patrick Miller (2005-2006), Stephan Blatti (2006-2008), and David Miller (2008-2010). I would like to thank as well the many referees who have helped to maintain the high standards of this journal. Finally, I am grateful to the Board of Directors for their assistance in editorial matters and for their commitment to strengthening JHP. [End Page iv]
