Introduction

At the 2011 Eastern Division Meeting of the American Philosophical Association (APA) in Washington, D.C., the North American Nietzsche Society (NANS) held a group session on the theme “Nietzsche and Romanticism,” chaired by Professor Robert Pippin (Chicago). Professor Frederick Neuhouser (Columbia), Professor Wolfgang Mann (Columbia), and independent scholar Ben Wolfson were invited to present papers; those by Professor Neuhouser and Dr. Wolfson are published in this issue.
