    The Gulf Coast Colonialist Colloquium invites paper proposals on Latin American and Caribbean topics related to the meeting's theme. A brief proposal (no more than 200 words) and a CV are due via email by August 11th, 2006, notifications will be sent by September 8th. Papers will be due no later than January 19th, 2007. We encourage attendance by all interested scholars.
