Lisa Lowe is a Professor in the Department of Literature at the University of California, San Diego. She is the author of Immigrant Acts: On Asian American Cultural Politics (1996); co-editor with David LLoyd of The Politics of Culture in the Shadow of Capital (1997); and co-editor with Elaine H. Kim of “New Questions, New Formations: Asian American Studies,” positions: east asia cultures critique 5 (Fall 1997).
Theodore S. Gonzalves is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Culture at the University of California, Irvine.
Jennifer P. Ting is a Ph.D. student in the Department of American Civilization at Brown University, where she is finishing a dissertation about sexuality and Asian American literary history, beginning with the Asian American movement press.
