  • Editor's Note

I would like to make a few comments on INTERTEXTS and announce some current news about the journal. Last year, with Volume 13, INTERTEXTS began its affiliation with Project Muse. The journal will be accessible to subscribers of Project Muse, a major source of academic journals, and we are very pleased to be a part of that.

Laura Beard, former Editor and current Associate Editor, has been handling book reviews for the last couple of years. That job will now go officially to Dr. Jason Banta, Assistant Professor of Classics, at Texas Tech University. Thankfully, Dr. Beard has agreed to keep her role as Associate Editor.

Also, INTERTEXTS collaborated with the University of South Carolina's Comparative Literature Program's international conference. Their 2010 conference, "Bodies," will be the topic of INTERTEXTS 15.1 (2011), and participants involved in that conference received a year subscription to INTERTEXTS as part of their registration fees. Happily, we are planning to continue that partnership in 2011–12. I am including the complete call for papers below. [Begin Page iii]
