An almost unknown calculating machine, deemed lost, has recently been discovered. It was invented and built before 1858 by Count Niccola Guinigi-Magrini, a nobleman from Lucca, Italy. The machine has a unique design and single-dial input device and is one of the few ancient Italian calculators still in existence.
